In a sad, sad loss to plucky punk girls worldwide, one of our own, Katherine Hepburn, has died.

Two best movies? The Philadelphia Story and Adam's Rib, without a doubt. Watch for the scene in Adam's Rib where Spencer Tracy walks in with a handgun made of licorice, and the entire sequence in The Philadelphia Story where Katherine romps drunkenly around her backyard with a saucy young Jimmy Stewart the night before her wedding to the astoundingly dull John Howard. Wonderful!
