Too bad there's no oil in the Congo.

To anyone who still thinks we "liberated" the Iraqi people for purely humanitarian reasons, I offer this horrific story.

Ritual Cannibalism Stalks Congo's Remote East

BUNIA, Congo (Reuters) - High on drugs and war, the militiamen took the Rwandan woman to a public place. There, before a large crowd, they mutilated her, cooked parts of her body and ate them.

It gets worse, and kind of graphic. How can we totally ignore things like these happening in the world? Not that I'm saying that we should rush in there with our bombs and tanks or anything, but I do think that if Iraq was enough of a human rights disaster to warrant it's own "Operation", when is "Operation Congo Freedom" going to happen? Is the White House objectively pro-Cannibalism?
